I have experience working with both web & mobile development. I have co-founded multiple online software businesses, created online development courses (Over 5,000 students so far) & worked on a number of projects over the years. I’m also currently available for projects.
PropTours allows realtors & agents to create engaging property walkthrough videos using only their smartphone. Saving time, money & increasing leads! The development of PropTours was based upon existing work made for StoriesWidget.com However as PropTours is dedicated to the Real Estate industry changes were required.
This involved talking to end users to learn the key problems the new product need to solve. From here alterations & new features were made to address these problems.
Part of Snappd, the idea behind StoriesWidget was to allow businesses and influencers to display the stories content they create on Instagram & bring this onto their website.
Development involved integrations with the new Facebook & Instagram APIs to fetch a users content, video processing, cloud storage alongside the development of a scalable & responsive video playback widget made for the story format.
In 2016 I co-founded Snappd with my co-founder, the idea was simple. An app that would allow Snapchat creators to be able to save & upload their stories which users could then discover, this was before Snapchat memories & before Instagram added stories the the app.
Snappd took us to a number of cities including Hamburg 🇩🇪, London 🇬🇧, Belfast & San Francisco 🇺🇸 We also raised some investment from a number of sources including Google DNI.
As with most startups we have had a number of pivots the first of which was to the app itself, we expanded the feature set to include story templates. Which helped grow the app to over 25,000 users but for an app these days thats not quite enough which led us onto our second pivot StoriesWidget (Read above)
Snappd was originally built in Swift before I rewrote it into React Native with Expo, you can watch a quick overview of the app below
After creating Webfolio, we noticed a need for a better way for Recruitment agencies to connect to developers, that would save time on both ends. Whilst also helping recruiters contact more relevant developers (And not contact developers who don't want to be contacted). Ultimately this project failed due to a lack of demand from the market but it was a great learning exercise.
Complete frontend and backend development of SaaS platform for recruitment teams to source and contact developers.
As co-founder of Webfolio I was solely responsible for the development of the project. Webfolio is a service for developers that uses the Github & Bitbucket API's to allow developers to select and share their code. At it's peak it was used by thousands of developers to share & organise code snippets. I developed the product from the ground up using a combination PHP & Javascript.
There are also a number of web services built in Node.js

Trendzer
As part of the platform team I was responsible for helping to create the Trendzer CMS system (Similar to Squarespace / Wix). Built using PHP & Javascript. My role mostly involved developing embeddable modules such as Maps, Forms, Video, Image Galleries, Navigations Menus, Footers & Headers all of which included settings users could edit to suit their needs. I was also helped other developers with client work & worked on support tickets for the system.
